The receiver is ready for use immediately and fully compatible with all Classic transmitters.
The Birth Alarm Classic receiver (item 029273) is intended as an extra or replacement receiver for the Birth Alarm Classic system. This system works via a powerful 433 MHz radio signal that can be received by multiple receivers simultaneously. This allows you to place multiple receivers at different locations, so you can always hear the Birth Alarm wherever you are in the house or stable.
Because all receivers listen to the same signal transmitted by the sender, they work completely simultaneously. When the mare lies down in the foaling position, the sender transmits the alarm signal and all receivers within range immediately give an alarm notification. This provides extra security and flexibility, especially during the night or when you move through the house or business.
The receiver runs on mains power and has clear indicator lights and a loud alarm tone. The device is easy to place and only needs to be within the transmission range of the system, for example in the bedroom, living room, kitchen, office or canteen on the yard.
The receiver is fully compatible with all Birth Alarm Classic models from 2006 and works with both the main transmitter and any additional transmitters when you monitor multiple mares.
