Why Birth Alarm?

About this product

With this complete set, you can use the Birth Alarm Mobile 2.0 immediately. The transmitter and anti-roll girth are included, allowing you to reliably monitor your mare right away.

The Birth Alarm Mobile 2.0 Complete contains everything you need to monitor your mare immediately. This set includes the Mobile 2.0 transmitter and the anti-roll girth, ensuring stable and accurate placement of the transmitter on the mare’s back. The transmitter automatically calls up to four phone numbers when a birth alarm is detected. No app, no complicated settings: just a SIM card and one button for operation.

The Birth Alarm Mobile 2.0 Complete is a ready-to-use solution for horse owners who don’t want to miss their foal’s birth.

Calls up to 4 numbers

The Mobile 2.0 transmitter detects the characteristic lateral position of the mare during foaling and automatically calls the phone numbers you set on the SIM card. You can set up to four numbers. If there’s no answer, it automatically calls the next number.

Delivered with anti-roll girth, completely ready to use

This complete set includes the anti-roll girth. This is essential for securing the transmitter stably on the mare’s back, allowing the Mobile 2.0 to measure accurately. The back position is the most reliable location for detecting lying behavior.

Set up with one button

With one button, you can activate or deactivate sleep mode. This is useful for mares who sleep in a deep lateral position, similar to their foaling position. This is more common in older mares.

The LED indicator clearly shows which mode is active: one flash for sleep mode off, three flashes for sleep mode on.

Works independently of apps or wifi

Since the Mobile 2.0 works independently of apps or wifi, the system is simple and very stable as long as there’s sufficient GSM coverage. This set includes all the hardware needed to start immediately.

Why Birth Alarm?

The moment you don't want to miss

The birth of a foal is a special and vulnerable moment, one that you, as a breeder, wouldn’t want to miss. Birth Alarm helps you be present at precisely the right moment, without disturbing your mare. Thanks to our smart transmitters, based on the mare’s natural behavior during foaling, you are immediately alerted as soon as the first contractions begin. This way, you can be at ease, optimally prepared, and give your mare the peace and attention she deserves. Since 1992, we have been making the lives of humans and animals safer and more comfortable, with a solution that continuously evolves.

They trust us

Our first foal was born safely with a borrowed device. It was very reassuring to get an alarm, especially since the camera had limited range. Now our mare is pregnant again and Birth Alarm gives us peace of mind once more.

Our mare has surprised us a few times before, and we really wanted to prevent that this time. Without the Birth Alarm, the birth could have gone wrong. For me, I’ll never go without it again.

We have been using the Birth Alarm Classic for years and are super satisfied! It has already saved the lives of several foals, for example when the amniotic sac has not opened. This was also the case with the little Painted Draco and his mother Imandra.

Highly recommended. We have been using Birth Alarm for over twenty years. For years, we used the old set with the crescent moon transmitters, and now we have the new set. It provides a lot of peace of mind, especially a good night’s sleep for people who have to go to work during the day 😉.

Birth Alarm is indispensable in our clinic. Together with the camera system, it’s the reason we haven’t missed a single miracle in the past 7 years 🍀❤️.
Tereza

Clinic owner

During a difficult birth and with a foal whose allantois had not opened, the Birth Alarm allowed us to be present from the very beginning. Thanks to the system, we now have 2 healthy foals, which might not have been the case otherwise.
