Starting in 2025, the 2G network will be phased out across Europe. This means that devices using this network, including some Birth Alarm models, will no longer be able to connect. It’s crucial that you take action in time to avoid any risks during your foal’s birth.

Substitution Program for 2G Models
In line with our mission, we’re offering a special substitution program for customers with a working 2G Birth Alarm model, such as the Mobile 1.0, Lite 1.0, or Smart. You can trade in your old 2G model for a 4G model at a reduced price. This ensures your system remains reliable and you’ll always have a good connection during these important moments.
For substitution, you can choose from the following models:

What Should You Do?
- Contact your dealer: Your dealer will guide you through the substitution program. Did you purchase your Birth Alarm through Birthalarm.com? Then contact us directly at info@birthalarm.com.
- Send in your old model: Your dealer will ask you to send or bring the 2G model to their location.
- Receive your new Birth Alarm: Once we receive your old model, we’ll send the replacement version to your dealer, who will hand it over to you after payment.
Note: only the transmitter needs to be replaced. Accessories and the case don’t need to be sent in.
Terms for the Substitution Program
Only 2G models are eligible for this program.
The new 4G model will be shipped once your traded-in 2G model has been received by Birth Alarm.
